Across Country Route
I have lived in Atlanta, GA for over seven years. The city has been very good to me. I’ve had the chance to make artwork for the city, work at one of the best contemporary art institutions in town, and build a community of funny and fierce artists that support me. I grew up in the suburbs of Marietta, a large conservative city (birthplace of the political career of Newt Gingridge, sorry about that) right next to Atlanta and although I went to school in Florida and New York, and have been fortunate to travel quite a bit, I have never lived elsewhere.
So on December 4th, 2016 I am heading west and moving my world to LA. My loosely planned route is as follows:
I would love your recommendations of what do and where to go. My time is flexible so I’m happy to stop in more places along the way.
